My name is Laurenta(La-ren-tay). I was born in Oklahoma City and raised in the “self proclaimed Native American capital” Anadarko.
I graduate high school in 2009 and thanks to high school wrestling and the hard work I put into that got me 3rd at State Tournament and becoming an All-State Wrestler.
It give me the confidence that I could accomplish and achieve more goals and dreams. I went on to pursue a career to become a professional bodybuilder.
A year and a few months later after graduating high school, I competed in my 1st bodybuilding competition. I won my weight class and placed 2nd overall out of the competition.
I was on big high after that competition, I couldn’t wait to compete in another one to eventually be a pro bodybuilder…but it never happened.
A few weeks later, I had a female friend who I would hang out with here and there from high school. We’re going to call her Jane. She always liked me and I liked here. There was never a sexual relationship at all, we kissed a few times…I just didn’t feel comfortable dating her at the time.
Anyway fast forward, she wanted me to hang out with her and meet her friends. So I happily agreed. I met her friends and we all had a good time.
Eventually everybody left her dorm to go sleep, so me and her got into the bed together. We talked and we cuddled and then ask me “what do you want to do?” And I told her “nothing” so nothing happened and we went to sleep.
Next morning her warm affectionate personality towards me was gone but still friendly. So, she asked me for a ride back to Anadarko to vist her name.
We got there and before I left; I asked her “Would you be my girlfriend?” She smiled at me and paused then said a classic line I was familiar with “Let me think about it” and she picked up her laundry, looked back at me, smiled, and told me bye.
I never got a answer back and that whole event led to me becoming interested in social dynamics, reading books again, traveling, languages, creating a YouTube channel, learning/doing different types of fitness, joining the military, masculinity and other self development pursuits/endeavors of improving myself over the past 8 years.
